  1. Wow - some very interesting components used here. I find the front hub intriguing, though it's probably somewhat heavy just from the look of it alone! The tubeless center-flange type rims are all very interesting, but folks have got to realize that as long as you've got the bead retention ridges, you can seal up a spoked rim with aquarium silicone or "shoe goo" etc. Ergo, all of this "KINEO" wheel rim and spoke technology, is BUNK - folks need to get back to looking at WEIGHT of a wire spoked rim. Though I suppose the nipples in the hub probably helps with the weight distribution. Though I might disparage their use on wire-spoked wheels, we need to bring back the center-flanged rims like Akront "NERVI" nevertheless - 'cause us HONDA COMSTAR enthusiasts really need some different sizes for rebuilding OUR wheels with! That said, there's a ton of other very interesting stuff going on with this build - I like the idea of the Diversion block with the bigger fins - better cooling if nothing else. AWESOME. It would be a treat to see fins return to liquid-cooled engines, just stick 'em on the outsides of the "water jacket" and add up all of that extra surface area, shrink the radiator down. That way, maybe we could bridge the gap between Honda's new CB1100, and CBR1000F - Bring back the tubular steel & especially backbone frames, bring back the wire-spoked RIMS!!! Motorcycle design could use an influx of retro design ethos, get rid of the last 20-30yrs of design ethos - I should say PATHOS - of the whole computer generated "carved via laser beams from a block of CHEESE" thing - bring back the sex appeal! Just sayin'. But yeah - bikes like THIS one really show how the Fugly '80s bikes CAN and SHOULD be saved via "extreme make-over" - I hope ya'll will dig my Ex-Daughter's "KZ440LOL" (as in "laugh out loud") and my own "CB900K0 Bol Bomber" ('82 CB900F Bol D'Or based homage to the '65 CB450K0 Black Bomber) - wire-spoked rims on both of 'em, and used in an odd way or so I like to think, on the KZ especially. Well - whatever. Enough about ME. It's bikes such as THIS one which give me hope that I'll still be able to pull a Rabbit out of a Hat after all.....
